[News] Halo 2 Launch Date and Limited Collector's Edition Announced

Halo 的開發商 Bungie 宣佈 Halo 2 將於今年 11 月 9 日發售。玩家可預訂限量的收藏家版本，除了遊戲光碟外，另有一 DVD 光碟載有：

• The Making of Halo 2: Behind the Scenes of Bungie Studios
• Featurettes on Game Design, Animation, Music and More
• Deleted Cinematics and Characters
• Art Gallery: From Concept to game
• Commentaries from the Development Team

另外，IGN 亦刊登了多人模式的試玩報告：

• 完全支援 Xbox Live 3.0 的功能
• 最多參與人數未確定，但現階段的測試版本已支援 16 人作戰
• 可同時使用雙鎗 (但使用雙鎗時不能擲手榴彈或埋身攻擊 )
• 可使用外星人的電漿劍埋身肉搏
• 部份武器 (如電漿劍和火箭發射器)有鎖定功能
• 建築物可被破壞
• 部份交通工具有突然加速裝置
